Join us for a day devoted to understanding and preventing miscarriage, covering the latest biomedical research, classical wisdom from the Huang Di Nei Jing, and evidence of what works in practice. This day, based on Justin Hextall's forthcoming JCM article and many years of clinical experience, will explore the essential factors and principles needed to provide effective fertility support. The day will cover: • Types of miscarriage • Biomedical evaluation and terminology • Risk factors and causes of miscarriage and infertility • The key organs, channels and substances of pregnancy • Research: herbs and acupuncture for miscarriage • Treatment protocols with acupuncture and herbs • Nutritional information and advice • Review of the key treatment principles for threatened, recurrent, and following miscarriage • A simplified guide to miscarriage signs/causes This day will be led by specialist Justin Hextall, BSc(Hons), Lic Ac, MBAcC, DipCHM, MRCHM, DipTCM(Gy/Obs), author of https://morefertile.pro/ Course open to all acupuncturists, acupuncture students and herbalists.
